OK. I’m bored with taking pictures of myself everyday. How do people do it? Even with a defined project in place, I got very bored with it very quickly. Sure, it’s fun when I’m doing something interesting and different, but I’m a quiet person who spends my days at work or curled up on the sofa with a book or a craft.
I could take the exact same picture (mugshot) every single day (I’ve seen lots of really great ones that spammed years), but I’m not really that interested in a project like that.
I could also quit, but I promised a friend I’d join her and I think it’s important for people to see and understand that some people have quiet lives and that’s OK.
I do like the 365 aspect of the project. I don’t know that I would if it had to be something complicated (something staged with proper lighting and using my “real” camera), but a quick pic with my phone is easy, doable and still a challenge in the sense that I need to remember to do it and I need to pay attention to potential picture opportunities.
So, I think I’m going to morph this into a loose 365 photo project with a weekly selfie. So, technically a 52feministselfies project with other pictures in the mix, I guess.
