Lots of people like to do fancy self portraits, but, for me, self portraits of any kind not something I want to spend time on. I’m not interested in pictures of myself, or even pictures of people in general. Even when I visited my niece, I hardly took any pictures of her – I was far more interested in one-on-one time without a camera between us. I was dreading this first picture: What would I do? Should I try to do something nice, or something silly? Would I look o.k.? Sheesh, if only I were as naturally photogenic as my younger siblings are! Then, mid-afternoon, it just happened that I found myself waiting for a large document to load. I was feeling that afternoon fatigue creeping in, and, quite frankly, I was bored. So, I grabbed my phone, settled back into my bored slump against my desk, and took a shoot. Bingo. I’m done for the day!
