Remember on of my first attempts at quilting back in February, when I had some issues with poorly cut charm squares (see part 1 and part 2 of my adventures)? I thought that I’d just end up using the panel I made to practice fancy quilt stitching, but in the end I came up with a pretty good idea and finished the quilt. I pretty damned happy with the end result. I did intend for the panel to be a little more offset to the lower right, but I love the quilting pattern I choose to use and the final quilt looks good and cozy.
A close up. I did horizontal lines in the panel, except for the “X”s at the corner squares, and vertical lines outside of the panel:
